Cory T. Johnson was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1985 and moved to Maryville, Tennessee in 1995. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in History in 2007 and Faulkner University's Jones School of Law in 2012. Before beginning law school, Cory worked for a year and a half as a legal assistant for the Maryville office of the bankruptcy firm, Brackett & Struck. While in law school Cory worked as an intern with Dungan, Meares & Webb as well as with the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Middle District if Alabama.
After law school, Cory returned home to Maryville where he handled appointed cases in both juvenile and criminal courts. In the summer of 2013, Cory clerked for the Tennessee Sixteenth Circuit Court Judge, J. Mark Rogers. IN the fall of 2013, Cory joined Robert M. Cohen's law office as an associate, and worked largely in domestic an criminal law.
Cory joined Dungan, Meares & Webb as an associate in March of 2016.
Cory is a member of the Knox and Blount County Bar Associations.
