Charles B. Dungan, Jr. started an association of attorneys using his experience, knowledge and skills to ensure the competent representation of every individual client. In 1989, Dungan who had already served our community as an assistant prosector and as Circuit Court Judge and our country as Captain and Judge Advocate General in the United States Air Force, volunteered to assist attorney Mike Meares in the pro bono defense of a citizen accused of first degree murder. Out of the association and the successful representation of one client grew a partnership with a philosophy of putting clients first. Charlies Dungan, Jr. died January 11, 2015 after nearly fifty years of service to the legal community. We maintain his name in honor of his dedication to the legal profession and the people of East Tennessee.
