Laura Webb graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 1993, and the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1998. Before beginning law school Laura worked for a year as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Middle Tennessee serving Middle Tennessee counties in State Court proceedings. While in law school Laura clerked for Eastman Chemical Company.

 

Laura began her legal career with Southeast Tennessee Legal Services where she handled primarily elder and benefits law. She started her domestic practice with Schwamm, Albiston and Higgins in Farragut. In the Summer 2000, Laura clerked for Judge Houston Goddard until August 2002, when she partnered with Meares, Andrews and Webb in Maryville.

 

In February 2005, she took a position working again at the Court of Appeals until February 2006. During this period Laura worked for then Judge, now Justice, Sharon Lee of the Tennessee Supreme Court.

 

In November 2006, Laura opened her own practice until July 2007 when she joined the firm of Dungan, Meares & Webb representing clients primarily in domestic cases.

 

Laura focuses her time on family law issues and has practiced extensively in both state courts from Blount, Loudon, Knox, Monroe and Jefferson Counties and Appellate courts.
